Here at HR GO we’re proud of our ability to help all sizes of businesses - big as well as small - find the right temporary staff to run effectively day-to-day.
So we’re thrilled to say we’ve landed a national recruitment contract to supply facilities management personnel to G4S Integrated Services, part of one of the largest players around.
Our initial contract with the high-profile security and facilities management giant began in July 2014, serving the Ministry of Justice in the North of England. It involved HR GO branches in Doncaster and Stockport plus support from Chatham and Bridgwater.
With 30 branches and a network of joint ventures nationwide, we’re ideally placed to source the best staff up and down the country. And in Spring 2015, our G4S deal was extended to cover:
We’re also now sourcing facilities management staff for Nuffield Orthopaedic Centreand Churchill Hospital, Oxford; Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, Greater Manchester and Lister Hospital, Stevenage.
G4S made it clear that our national network of branches was an important factor in its decision to award us the contract. As you might expect, our own staff played a pivotal role too. As Fiona Blow, HR business partner at G4S Integrated Services, explains:
“When we held a beauty parade of five or six suppliers, HR GO really stood out. The team was so warm and friendly we wanted to work with them from the word go. Their energy and enthusiasm came across immediately: they wanted to grab the bull by the horns, get out there and start supplying.”
Special mentions are due to HR GO sales director Cindy Hare and contract support manager Anita Hughes, who presented to G4S in 2014.
Managing a large temporary workforce in terms of bookings, timesheet approval and payroll across multiple sites can be extremely complex. Best practice systems are key for all HR GO contracts - including of course for a prestigious national and multi-layered contract with G4S.
An intricate web of spreadsheets and numerous phone calls just doesn’t cut the mustard. So we’ve launched a specialist online portal to make ordering slicker and quicker for G4S contract managers.
The portal means G4S can add their own vacancies, giving a centralised pool for the HR GO branch network to access. It’s simple to authorise timesheets, and helps payroll ensure workers get paid on time. Plus, it serves a tool to help the national management team to audit the HR GO local branches.
Speaking for G4S, Fiona Blow is confident they’ve selected the right supplier: “We’re interested in a long-term relationship with HR GO. Now we have the main structures in place, the key to success of the overall deal will be the relationships that are built between branch managers and local G4S contract managers.”
We’re looking forward to building on a promising start, and unleashing the power of our nationwide network of branches to source the right staff to keep G4S moving.
