We have all seen the terrible pictures of migrants risking their lives trying to get into lorries that travel to the UK. The last couple of months have brought even greater pressures on the safety of lorry drivers passing through Calais, but a new app designed by a Sussex entrepreneur could be the key to making their lives easier.
The new app, approved by the Apple Store, aims to stop lorry drivers falling foul of the migrant chaos in Calais. Drivers will be able to report any sightings of migrants reaching their lorries without taking a personal risk by getting out of their own cabs.
The app will instantly send a message to the registered company that owns the vehicle alerting them that their lorry security is at risk and allowing them to alert the authorities.
Imagine you are on the pitch surrounded by people. You are all packed closely together with your heads down and joined in three rows.
