About the client:
My client is working in FMCG area across global markets. We are recruiting to the business centre located in Wrocław.
Location: Wroclaw
Working mode: Hybrid (50% from the office)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s financial operations, including bookkeeping, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. Proficiency with the SAP system is essential for success in this role.
Key Objectives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bookkeeping tasks.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.
- Assist with compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
- Perform month-end close tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate and deadlines are consistently met.
- Coordinate with local and international finance teams to ensure alignment.
- Utilize SAP to manage financial data and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize SAP processes for the finance function.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with other finance team members to deliver accurate and timely results.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational company.
- Proficiency in SAP system with hands-on experience in finance modules.
- Solid understanding of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with consolidation processes in a group accounting environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
