Head of Sales (B2B)

Our Ukrainian client, a Kyiv-based tour operator, has been a leader in the tourism industry for 14 years, serving 5.5 million travelers. Operating internationally, this growing brand continues to innovate by uncovering new destinations and enhancing existing ones, while collaborating with 10,000 tourist agencies through an efficient distribution system built on exclusive contracts and robust partner support.

They are seeking a motivated and experienced Head of Sales to join their team in Poland.
 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy tailored to market trends.
  • Building and expanding sales channels to meet company business goals.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with agencies, with a focus on those holding the largest market share.
  • Actively promoting the product and personally assisting in closing major deals.
  • Participating in the development of flight programs by providing insights on competitors’ plans and market trends.
  • Creating a sales plan and delivering sales performance aligned with the market budget.
  • Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal sales reports to management.
  • Identifying issues in flight fulfillment/sales dynamics and preparing proactive actions or tactics.
  • Analyzing sales reports, drawing conclusions, and implementing appropriate activities.
  • Coordinating between agent requests, operations, and product teams.
  • Maintaining direct communication with agencies through channels such as Facebook agency groups, WhatsApp, and newsletters.
  • Supervising meetings, webinars, roadshows, trainings, and familiarization trips to grow sales channels.
  • Participating in industry events.
  • Supervising and supporting MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sales.
  • Building, growing, and coaching a team of area sales managers responsible for specific regions, agencies, and performances.
  • Establishing and developing a Help Desk function and team to serve B2B and B2C purposes.
  • Creating and identifying new ideas or niches to maximize business results.
  • Coordinating with product and marketing teams for improved performance.
  • Effectively utilizing the CRM system to manage the sales process.
  • Staying informed about industry-specific trends and landscapes.


Professional experience and skills:

  • Experience in the tourism industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with grammatically correct speech.
  • Proficiency in both local and English languages.
  • Quick learner with strong adaptability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure (stress-resistant).
  • Strong teamwork and multitasking skills.
  • Energetic, persistent, and growth-oriented.
  • Analytical thinker with a helicopter view of the business.
  • Strong managerial abilities, priority setting, and organizational skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and innovative thinking.
