Junior STP Accountant with Romanian – Wrocław

Our Client: A global leader in the production of frozen bakery products, providing a wide range of high-quality baked goods for the retail, gastronomy, and quick-service restaurant sectors. The company specializes in artisan bread, pastries, and snacks, combining traditional baking craftsmanship with modern production technology. We are looking for a Junior STP Accountant with Romanian, who will support the team in accounting processes related to payables. If you have experience in finance and want to develop in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you!


Location: Wrocław – Hybrid (10 days HO / month)


Responsibilities:
  • Participating in the transition of AP processes.
  • Timely processing of accounts payable documents, including employee expense settlements.
  • Handling inquiries from internal and external suppliers.
  • Supporting internal and external audits.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of supplier reconciliations and balance confirmations.
  • Performing accounting period closing activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Identifying process improvements and standardization opportunities in P2P.
  • Adhering to accounting principles, group standards, and internal control policies.
  • Supporting effective collaboration with business partners and the team.
  • Delivering services in accordance with SLA and business requirements.
  • Creating and updating operational procedures (SOPs).
     
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting/finance.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA.
  • Very good command of English (minimum B2).
  • Very good command of Romanian (minimum B2).
  • Practical accounting knowledge and ability to improve financial processes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and openness to change.
  • Accuracy, timeliness, and a positive attitude toward learning.
     
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in SSC.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of an additional European language (e.g., German, French).
  • Experience in financial process transitions.
