About the role:

The Master Data Administrator is responsible for maintaining and updating SAP master data (customer, vendor, material, pricing) to support accurate, compliant, and efficient operations across global markets. Working as part of the Central Master Data Team, this role ensures timely processing of requests, high data quality, and adherence to governance standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Maintenance (80%): Process daily requests for master data updates, including vendor and customer creations, modifications, and compliance checks in SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
• Ticket & Query Management: Manage ticket queues, prioritize urgent requests, and communicate with international users to clarify and complete data requirements.
• Data Quality Audits: Perform regular checks and data cleansing, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to central governance standards.
• Project Support: Act as a master data expert in cross-functional projects, coordinating updates and supporting transition to SAP MDG.
• Scripting: Execute and create data-processing scripts in Winshuttle as needed, with training available.
• Collaboration & Communication:  ​​​​​​Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions to address data governance issues.

Job Requirements:

• ​​
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• SAP Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA), with experience in MM and SD modules nice to have.
• Master Data Management: Prior experience in master data governance, particularly with materials, vendors, customers, and pricing data.
• Additional Tools: Familiarity with ServiceNow, Outlook, and Winshuttle (preferred).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, or similar teams across different regions.
• Data Analysis: Demonstrated numerical and analytical skills to validate, audit, and improve data quality.
