Our client - global leader in innovative solutions and advanced technology for the dairy industry, is seeking a highly skilled SAP Variant Configuration Specialist to join their team. Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with R&D and the New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain teams to ensure successful launches of new products into global production.
• Interface with product development, engineering, marketing, sales, production, and procurement teams to meet all product and system configuration requirements.
• Take ownership of developing and maintaining configuration models within SAP LO-VC/AVC.
• Support production engineering teams in setting up essential production master data (BOM, routing).
• Create, modify, and maintain key elements of product configuration, such as characteristics, classes, classification hierarchies, configurable materials, configuration profiles, BOM, routings, object dependencies (constraints, rules, selection conditions), variant tables, pricing, and material variants.
• Perform functional and integration testing of SAP VC models.
• Assist in the development of documentation and training materials for new product and system models released through VC.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT, SAP platform teams, and third-party vendors to ensure the reliability and scalability of VC systems.
• Ensure high efficiency and quality in all VC-related functions within the SAP system.
• Lead and support projects, working closely with IT and business management for successful deployments.
• Serve as the SAP VC module expert, providing ongoing support for SAP Variant Configuration processes.
• Troubleshoot SAP-related issues and business process challenges as reported by operations.

Experience and Skills:

• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, including financial flows.
• Experience with SAP ECC/S4 product configuration, particularly in the tech or manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC required, S/4 AVC is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of variant configuration modeling, including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, BOM nodes, selection conditions, procedures, super BOMs, routings, and work centers.
• Functional knowledge of SAP VC, best practices, and related cross-functional SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, FI/CO) and their integration with VC.
• Understanding of Product Data Management (PDM), with ARAS experience being a plus.
• Solid experience in product structuring and engineering change management.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP VC modeling.
• Analytical mindset, with strong data handling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, high accuracy, and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and contribute to system development for production.
