EDI EMEA Team is dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes. Positioned at the forefront of EMEA's continuous transformation towards SAP S/4 Hana, this transition signifies a substantial advancement in modernizing our business processes and IT systems. This team holds a pivotal role in propelling this transformation forward.

In a few words you will:
 

• Manage EDI transactions, fostering data exchange with trading partners, and leveraging standard EDI protocols and technologies like IBM B2B and Seeburger BIS for seamless business integrations.
• Contribute to supply chain optimization, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Promote efficient data exchange and strengthening partnerships with trading counterparts.
   

Key Responsibilities

EDI Implementation, Operations and Maintenance
 

• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new trading partners onto the EDI platform.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor and maintain EDI systems, resolving technical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific EDI standards and requirements.
   

Trading Partners Communication:
 

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with trading partners, addressing their EDI-related inquiries and concerns.
• Coordinate with trading partners to exchange EDI documents efficiently.
• Assist in the resolution of discrepancies or issues related to EDI transactions.
   

Documentation and Training:
 

• Develop and maintain EDI documentation, including trading partner agreements and implementation guides.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and trading partners on EDI processes and procedures.
   

Continuous Improvement:
 

• Continuously evaluate and optimize EDI processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for automation and system improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in EDI.
   

Compliance and Reporting:
 

• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations related to EDI.
• Generate reports and analytics on EDI performance and document exchange.
   

About You
 

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related technical discipline with relevant previous experience.
• Proven experience working with IBM B2B (Business-to-Business) and Seeburger BIS (Business Integration Suite) or similar software solutions used for managing and facilitating electronic data interchange (EDI) and business integration processes between different organizations and trading partners.
• Familiarity with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or industry-specific formats.
• Proficiency in EDI software and tools (e.g., EDI translators, VANs, AS2, OFTP2 and API connectivity).
• Familiarity with SAP ERP, WMS and TMS systems.
• High level of English proficiency is essential.
